Who are you? What am I reading?

My name is Peter and I want to write something important. Right now that means making fun of serious issues and writing postmodern news reports that show you how different things can be if we slightly change what we consider important.

I write literature that’s exciting and smut that’s respectable.

Our minds have grown, our attention spans have shrunk and the world’s stories are changing. High and vulgar literature are fusing together. On this blog I ride that change, I help decide what writing means in the 21st Century.

My full name is Peter Salvatore Matthews. I want to master every form of writing I can. I was first published at 11, got kicked out of a writer’s guild a year later, became a columnist for Fairfax’s littlest newspaper, got my Advanced Diploma in pro writing and editing, turned 18, refounded the writers’ guild that kicked me out and started this blog.
